CEPAR's Australia-China Population Ageing Hub is hosting its 5th Annual Workshop on Population Ageing and the Chinese Economy in July 2019.

Please join us for an afternoon tea event where we will introduce our exciting new research on Mature Workers in Organisations and connect with representatives from industry, not-for-profits and government organisations.

CEPAR, in collaboration with the Next World Program, is hosting the 4th Workshop on the Economics of Ageing on Resources in Retirement, held at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, on June 24-25, 2019.

The International Pension Research Association (IPRA), formerly known as International Network for Pensions, Aging, and Retirement Research (INPARR), is hosting its fourth annual conference at the OECD Headquarters, Paris on 5 June 2019.

Supporting organisations navigate the challenges associated with a maturing workforce: Industry and government representatives are invited to meet the extended research team from the nodes at Curtin University and the University of Sydney Business School, led by CEPAR Chief Investigators Professor Sharon Parker and Professor Marian Baird.

This workshop will bring together leading scholars, policymakers and data experts to explore how routinely collected data can be used to address policy-relevant questions particularly related to population ageing research.

What has been the impact on dementia in the population from changes in education, and what does it teach us for the future? Fiona Matthews, Professor of Epidemiology at Newcastle University, UK, will investigate these questions in a free public lecture, held on 6 February at UNSW Sydney.

Professor Martin Eling from the University of St. Gallen will visit the UNSW node of CEPAR and present a seminar titled Research on Long-term Care Insurance:Status Quo and Directions for Future Research on December 12.
