Co-hosted by CEPAR and the School of Risk & Actuarial Studies, UNSW Business School, the Colloquium is a unique annual event, bringing together academics from economics, finance, actuarial studies and related disciplines, government and industry to discuss the latest research on pensions, superannuation and retirement.
The 30th Colloquium on Pensions and Retirement Research will be held in person at UNSW Sydney on 29-30 November 2022,* and also host an online session on 1 December 2022, sponsored by the International Pension Research Association (IPRA).

Submission deadline: 19 August 2022
This year we specifically invite submissions on:
- Decumulation
- Financial advice, guidance and engagement
- Superannuation/pensions and housing
- ESG, climate risk and superannuation/pensions
Contributions are also welcome on other topics, which may include but are not limited to:
Financing aged care costs; cognitive decline and financial decisions of the elderly; public pensions and sustainable fiscal policy; taxation of superannuation/pensions; superannuation/pensions and labour markets; regulation and performance of superannuation/pension funds; choice architecture and defaults; financial product disclosure; financial literacy and financial education; longevity and healthy life expectancy; and gender issues in superannuation/pensions.
Early career researchers and research students (including PhD, Masters and Honours students) are particularly encouraged to make a submission. A cash prize will be awarded for the ‘Best Student Presentation’.

A Submission Form is available online. Please email the completed form along with a 300-word abstract and a full paper or an extended abstract of up to 3 pages to cepar@unsw.edu.au.
The deadline for submission is 19th August 2022.
