CEPAR's annual workshops are a centrepiece of knowledge-sharing and networking for CEPAR personnel, students and collaborators, with the aim to create links between people across CEPAR's five university nodes, assess and report on research progress to date and draw the global milestones and goals for the coming year. It is also an opportunity for students and research fellows to present posters and talks about their research projects to the extended CEPAR community.
CEPAR Annual Workshop 2019
The CEPAR Annual Workshop 2019 was held over two days on 29 and 30 October at the Q Station in Sydney Harbour National Park in Manly. The workshop included research stream reports and detailed discussions about research progress, future directions and opportunities for intra- and cross-stream collaboration. In addition, the two-day event included poster sessions, showcasing the work of CEPAR's emerging and mid-career researchers.
In 2019, the Best Poster Presentation Awards at the CEPAR Annual Workshop were awarded to:
LARRY LIU, ANU
Best Poster Presentation Award for ‘Demographic Changes and Global Imbalances’
LUCINDA ILES, Curtin University
