CEPAR's annual workshops are a centrepiece of knowledge-sharing and networking for CEPAR personnel, students and collaborators, with the aim to create links between people across CEPAR's five university nodes, assess and report on research progress to date and draw the global milestones and goals for the coming year. It is also an opportunity for students and research fellows to present posters and talks about their research projects to the extended CEPAR community.
CEPAR Annual Workshop 2020
The CEPAR Annual Workshop 2020 was held over two days on 23-24 November, with research stream reports being made in virtual mode, and included detailed discussions about research progress, future directions and opportunities for intra- and cross-stream collaboration. In addition, the two-day event included a session Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) facilitated by CEPAR's ED&I committee, as well as virtual poster presentation sessions, showcasing the work of CEPAR's emerging and mid-career researchers.
In 2020, the Best Poster Presentation Awards at the CEPAR Annual Workshop were awarded to:
PHITAWAT POONPOLKUL, ANU
Best Poster Presentation Award for 'Age-Dependent Risk Aversion: Re-evaluating Fiscal Policy Impacts of Population Ageing'
