The ERA 2012 conference organising committee warmly invite the submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations from PhD, Masters and Professional Doctoral students engaged in ageing-related research from any discipline.
The ERA conference is the only national conference in Australia focusing exclusively on the work of higher degree research students undertaking research in ageing across a range of disciplines. Now in its eleventh year, the conference presents a unique opportunity for higher degree research students to come together to share their research.
The benefits of participating in ERA 2012 include the opportunity to:
- present your research findings to a diverse audience including students, academics, policy makers and practitioners;
- publish your paper in peer reviewed conference proceedings;
- meet prospective employers from the government, non-government and private sectors; and
- network with other students from a wide range of disciplines conducting research in ageing.
The ERA conference is being held immediately prior to the Australian Association of Gerontology National Conference, which is also to be held in Brisbane, so it is a great opportunity to spend the week hearing about the latest research, networking and sharing your own work.
