Fangfang Zhang is a CEPAR Research Fellow, located in the Centre for Transformative Work Design at Curtin University. She joined CEPAR in September 2022 after working for two years as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Centre for Transformative Work Design at Curtin University. She received her PhD in Management from Curtin University in 2020.

Her research interests include work design, job crafting, proactive behavior, overqualification, and employability. Within CEPAR, Fangfang focuses on understanding how work design/job crafting can support successful ageing, especially the effects of work design/job crafting on employees’ learning and employability during ageing. Fangfang’s research has been published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior and European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology. One paper published in JOB on the topic of job crafting has been awarded the best paper in JOB in 2019, highly cited paper award 2019-2020 and top downloaded paper 2018-2019 from Wiley. Before her PhD, she had five-year work experience as a human resource management consultant and psychologist, with expertise in employee assistance program (EAP), talent recruitment and assessment, and leadership development.
