CEPAR Awards and Prizes

• CEPAR Annual Workshop Best Poster Presentation Awards: CEPAR has provided opportunities for students and early- and mid-career researchers to present their research to the extended CEPAR community during dedicated poster sessions at the Centre's Annual Workshops, with prizes being awarded to the best poster presenters.

• Hal Kendig Prize for the Best CEPAR PhD Thesis: The Hal Kendig Prize has been awarded in commemoration of the late Emeritus Professor Hal Kendig who was a CEPAR Chief Investigator and an important influence on the policy debate around ageing in Australia and internationally. Hal Kendig provided mentorship throughout his career and was especially active in mentoring PhD students.
