Red-Cepar-DotCEPAR Supplementary Scholarships for Higher Degree Students

A limited number of scholarships, valued at $5,000 p.a., will be offered to provide additional support to eligible international and domestic higher degree research students to assist them with pursuing a program of study related to CEPAR's research program under the direct supervision of a CEPAR Chief Investigator or Australian-based Associate Investigator.

Applicants for 2014 Australian Postgraduate Awards (APA), International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS), National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) or university equivalent scholarships will be eligible to apply. The Supplementary Scholarship Guidlines and Application Form will be available in August 2013.

Please note: Candidates must also apply for the primary scholarship (e.g., APA) and admission at their enrolling institution. Please check your enrolling institution's deadlines as they may be earlier than the CEPAR supplementary scholarship closing date.

Applications for 2014 will open in August.

Red-Cepar-DotCEPAR Honours Scholarships 

Applications for 2014 will open in October via the UNSW Scholarships website

Honours scholarships valued at $5000 are available to students wishing to enrol in a fourth year of undergraduate study to expand their knowledge in a particular area of study and to develop their research skills.

Honours scholarships are offered for particular disciplines only.

A limited number of scholarships will be offered to students commencing their honours year at the UNSW node in 2014 on a thesis topic related to CEPAR's research program and under the supervision of a CEPAR Chief or Associate Investigator. These scholarships are available to students enrolling in a UNSW honours program in the following disciplines:

  • Economics
  • Risk and Actuarial Studies

Applicants enrolling in other UNSW schools intending to undertake a thesis on a topic related to population ageing may also be considered.
